Michael Cuddyer Who?????

Screw the little Nicky Punto blog I wanna talk about the savior, Denard Span. Once again he saves our ass. This time defensively and offensivly. He hits, he throws, he steals bases, takes walks, he is pretty much everything Cuddyer is not. On the defensive side the two are a wash. Offensivly it's not even a competition. They have played in about the same amount of games this year with Span having 10 less at bats. He is ahead in every category imaginable. More hits, more total bases, more everything. His OPS is 145 points higher. 145!!! The kid plays like he has been in the majors for years.

Good thing we signed Cuddy to that long term deal. What a waste of money. I would rather have the compensatory draft pick we would have got from losing him than resigning him. Think about it we paid good money for an above average defensive and below average offensive outfielder. They are a dime a dozen. He has had two horrible seasons in a row and can't stay healthy. How about spending some money on an infield??? We have plenty of sevicable outfielders and no infielders. NONE. (I'm undecided on Buscher.)

PLEASE do not put Cuddy back in the starting line-up. If anything we could use another righthanded bat off the bench. Bench him and trade him. It's Denard Span time, baby!!!

It's time to let it all out....

I sit at work all day doing very little. Why don't I take care of some pent up anger? It sounds like a good idea, but there isn't much I can do about it at work. That's how this blog came about. I need something that I can bitch and complain about. What is better then my favorite sports team??

Sports are the perfect thing to bitch about. Everyone has an opinion. Half of you will agree with me, half won't, and that's the best part. What is better than debating your friends on what reliever should have been brought in, or what roster move should be made? Not much, so leave plenty of comments and I'll debate until I'm blue in the face. Just remember, there is not a more dangerous animal in the wild than an "Angry Twins Fan".
